Thai bodywork sessions are typically 90 minutes in length. All sessions begin with footwork and move towards the head throughout the session. I typically start you lying face up and, depending on requested areas of focus, you will stay on your back, move to either side, be seated, and sometimes lie on your stomach (I am able to modify positions for expecting mothers). As I work, I request that you don’t try to help me in lifting limbs or moving your body around…truly, all you need to do is breathe.

As a practitioner of the Thai tradition, all of my work is permeated through the filter of compassion, or Metta; loving kindness. You are safe to be fully you when you’re with me.

Most of us can do our own research regarding ailments and goals, however, it’s often hard to see the forest through the trees on our own path…also, the path is rarely linear. It is often helpful to have dialogue and reflection around our greatest concerns and most desired outcomes in order to be fully aware of the work to be done. It’s beneficial to be guided on the winding and sometimes seemingly uphill journey it requires to make a pleasurable life materialize. In our coaching session, we will look together in order to focus in on, and sometimes zoom out, to see which components of daily life would be most beneficial to address in support of optimal health. My aim is to help you identify the goals, as well as the obstacles, to embodying your most thriving self, and make a generalized plan of focus. This work is intended to be a comprehensive space held for your mind, body, spirit, and soul so that you can hear and see yourself with total inclusion from a neutral reflection. I am not a doctor and do not give medical advice.

When you feel good, you make good choices. When you make good choices, life flows more freely. With 20 years of yoga experience, I will customize a series of movements to meet your body’s current needs. Whether you’re recovering from injury or looking to offset all that desk time, a tailored movement routine will open your physical reception of health and encourage a deeper relationship with your own physical being. While I don’t have ambitions for you to get your toes behind your ears, I do agree that moving in new ways is often uncomfortable. I often find that stillness is one of the most uncomfortable ways of being in a human body no matter the position. In each session, you will get an illustrated movement routine that includes breathing techniques and cues for alignment so that you can properly execute these moves without risk of injury. Each prescriptive is designed based on your goals, current range of motion, strength and mindset.
